What should I do if I can’t download the ActiveX component needed to use the Research tool?

Please check a couple of things:

  • Turn off pop-up blockers.
  • Check firewall settings. Your firewall may be preventing you from downloading Add-ons like ActiveX controls.
  • Go to Tools > Internet Options -> Security and click on the Trusted Sites option. Add myheritage.com as a trusted site.
